You will be dropped off at Kings Canyon Resort.
You will be picked up from Uluru Resort or your hotel at the scheduled time in the afternoon. As you travel from Uluru to Kings Canyon in a coach, take in the majestic and rugged scenery of the famous Aussie Outback.
As you drive towards Kings Canyon, your experienced guide will point out the significant sites and key landmarks of the area. Enjoy enlivening commentary on the local history and stories of the many sacred sites you'll pass through.
Pass through Curtin Springs and see Atila (Mt. Conner), a distinctive, flat-topped mountain that rises 300 metres above the desert sand, that is often mistaken for Uluru. As you turn off the Lasseter Highway and onto Luritja Road, your guide will tell you about the surrounding cattle stations.
You are expected to reach Kings Canyon Resort before dusk. You may be in time to view a glorious sunset behind Carmichaels Crag to top off the day.
