Explore the natural wonders of Australia’s red centre with this overnight tour. Get up close with the rock domes of Kata Tjuta and the large monolith of Uluru as you walk underneath the site. See the changing colours of the Uluru rock during sunrise and sunset, and in the evening enjoy a scrumptious dinner under the stars.
Spend the night in the middle of the desert in a twin-sharing permanent tent and have an early start next morning for an Uluru sunrise and a visit to the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre
DAY 1 – Yulara/Kata Tjuta/Uluru
You will be picked up from the meeting point and taken to the first highlight of the day, the 36 rock domes of Kata Tjuta (The Olgas).
Take a walk through the domes and learn about its formation and significance.
Next, you will get to Uluru just in time to see the sunset. Sip wine and see the the large monolith turn to a sun-kissed ochre when the final rays of the sun fall.
In the evening, enjoy a dinner with red earth beneath your feet and the starry sky overhead. Be seated to a candle-lit spread of locally sourced food and wine. At the end of the day, head to your twin-share tents, with comfortable beds, linen, towels, lighting and cooling fans.
DAY 2 – Uluru
You will start the day early, heading out to see the sunrise at Uluru. See the rock and the desert come alive as the first rays of the sun fall on the large monolith.
After sunrise, join a native indigenous guide and translation for a Mala Walk. During the walk you will see some of the sacred sites where Aboriginal communities live and hold ceremonies.
Moving forward, you will travel to the Uluru – Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. You will have free time to explore the centre on your own and learn about the stories and legends of the resident Anangu people.
At the end of the tour, you will be dropped back to your hotel in Ayers Rock Resort.

The entrance fee (AUD25) to Kata Tjuta National Park is a government charge and is not included in the tour price. It must be paid on the day of the tour.
Medical Assessment Form: All passengers over the age of 70 are required to complete a Medical Assessment form. Please request if required.
A strict luggage limit of 15kg per person applies, in a soft bag or backpack.
